Before we became travel agents, we once booked a cruise through Sam's Club. That was the worst experience ever as the person we were dealing with had never taken a cruise and was telling us all kind of information that wasn't correct. We were booking a balcony cabin and she booked us into an obstructed view balcony cabin. Luckily, we had some experience cruising so I was able to figure out what she did wrong and have her fix it long before our cruise came along. We hope you will allow us to book your vacations, but if you do book through someone else, make sure that person travels as well and at least knows a little about what they are assisting you with. 

Why you should book with a travel agent versus booking direct: Since cruises is the majority of our business, I will focus on that here. When you book direct with the cruise line, you are simply getting the current pricing that they may be offering to everyone. If you are a frequent cruiser with that cruise line, you may have a special discount or casino offer that applies to you, but other than that the cruise lines can only quote you the current offer. When you book through us, at the very worst we will get you the same offer that you could get by booking direct, but many times we have special pricing available that can save you hundreds, possibly even thousands of dollars per cabin. Another reason to book with a travel agent is that when you book through the cruise line, they don't pay out the commission that they would pay to a travel agent which only gives them even more profit. They don't pass on those savings to you. When you book through a travel agent, the cruise line pays a commission to the travel agent so you are helping a small business. I don't know about you, but I love being able to help out small businesses when possible.
